This Cookie Policy explains how Top Notch New Jersey ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on topnotchnewjersey.com (the "Site"). It supplements our Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide reporting information to site owners.
We use the following categories of cookies:
Required for the Site to function. These cannot be disabled. Examples: session management, form submission protection, accessibility preferences.
Help us understand how visitors interact with the Site so we can improve the experience. We may use Google Analytics to collect anonymized statistics on page views, traffic sources, and engagement.
Remember your preferences (such as anchor scroll position or form abandonment recovery) to give you a smoother visit.
Third-party services we use may set their own cookies. These include Meta (Facebook Pixel — see "Advertising and conversion measurement" below), Google (Analytics, Search Console, reCAPTCHA), our hosting providers, and any social-media embeds. We do not control these cookies; they are governed by the relevant third party's privacy policies.
We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and the Meta Conversions API to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram and to reach people who might be interested in our services. When you visit the Site, Meta sets two cookies — _fbp (identifies your browser to Meta; expires after 90 days) and, if you arrived from a Meta ad, _fbc (records the click identifier; expires after 90 days).
When you submit our consultation form or tap our phone number, we send a corresponding event ("Lead" or "Contact") to Meta both from your browser and from our server. If you provided a name on the form, it is hashed with SHA-256 before it leaves our server so Meta cannot read the raw value — the hash is only used to match your event to an existing Meta account for ad measurement. We do not send your phone number to Meta.
You can opt out of ad personalization in your Facebook ad preferences, your Instagram ad settings, or through the Digital Advertising Alliance's consumer choice tool.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings:
If you disable cookies, some Site features may not function as intended.
The Site honors the "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal where technically feasible. Some third-party services may not respect DNT.
We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices evolve. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date.
